Tool Centre McKinnon commenced business on July 1st, 2003. Laurie Herron, owner, was general manager of The Tool Centre Company Pty Ltd for 26 years and when the opportunity arose to purchase the shop in McKinnon, Laurie grasped it with both hands, knowing full well that his unparalleled knowledge and expertise would benefit all that entered the shop.
His reputation throughout the trade, both with customers and suppliers is highly regarded and the business has been a phenomenal success from day 1. And now that his sons, Matthew & Terence have joined the business, we are a fully family owned and run independent store.
We pride ourselves on having an extensive range from all the major manufacturers so we can provide unbiased advise and the right tool for the job, not just what we’ve got in stock!
We also have a fully equipped workshop enabling us to repair all brands of power and air tools, as well as giving us the unique ability to see inside the tools we sell. Our head workshop technician, Graeme, together with Laurie have a combined experience of over 50 years and we are approved warranty agents for most leading brands.
